Cougar Pumps is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of our UK industrial pump business.
This is autonomous role suited to someone with proven industry credibility, commercial judgement, and the ability to develop relationships at all levels. You will work directly with the Head of Sales, taking ownership of new business development and strategic account growth across the UK.
A key focus will be expanding sales of the FireConnect® remote monitoring system for fire pumps. Cougar Pumps is the UK Industrial Partner for Peerless Pumps.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 3 years experience within the pump industry
Demonstrable history of winning new business and developing high-value accounts
Comfortable operating independently with full ownership of your territory and diary
Able to build long-term, professional relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users
Evidence of consistent KPI delivery
Commercially astute, trustworthy, and self-directed
Fire pump experience preferred, not essential
Full UK driving licence required
