An immersible pump is different to a submersible pump because of the corrosive nature of the liquid, the motor is mounted above the tank with an extended shaft to the pump end at the bottom of the sump. The pump can be mounted internally or externally & shorter lengths are built without immersed bearings or seals meaning they have virtually no maintenance requirements or risk of failure.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF USING A VERTICAL IMMERSIBLE PUMP?
Vertical immersible pumps offer several benefits, including space-saving design, as they require a smaller footprint than horizontal pumps. They prevent motor exposure to corrosive or hazardous fluids by keeping the motor above the liquid level. These pumps also provide high efficiency and reliability, with minimal risk of leaks due to their seal-less or semi-sealed designs.
