One of the things we frequently see when servicing or repairing pumps, is that whilst the pump has had an obvious failure (it stopped working) the pump controls are rarely considered the root cause.
For example, if the correct overloads are not fitted allowing an overload situation to keep the pump running until it burns out, or the incorrect parameters set into an inverter drive, or failed float switches, etc.
If your pumps need a repair or overhaul it makes sense to check that all the controls are as they need to be before returning your pump to duty and stopping repeated failures.
If your controls are the same vintage as the pump, they too may need attention.
If in doubt, give us a shout and save yourself some money.
