In the UK the clocks going forward by an hour this weekend, marks the end of darker winter evenings and the return of lighter evenings as we head into Spring.
Who else does this? More than 70 countries around the world.
Most European countries, including France, change their clocks at the end of March and again at the end of October. As do the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.
Then there are others who don’t, including Russia, Iceland, Belarus and Turkey, India, Japan and China.
