If you wanted to change a pump duty, you could fit a new pulley, or two, and a new set of drive belts.
But of course, nobody ever did, unless the duty was way off.
Therefore, most pumps were ill matched to the performance needed.

You can fit an IE5 motor driven pump with inbuilt inverter that can be matched to your duty, and set up to follow changing conditions.
This means you are running at a more efficient duty point and saving money.
Nostalgia may be great, but saving a load of cash must be better.
