Another great piece of work by our Field Engineers carrying out a LTHW Tertiary pump service.

Tertiary LTHW pumps are part of a Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) heating system, commonly used in large buildings such as hospitals, campuses, and commercial complexes.

Tertiary LTHW pumps are the final-stage pumps that provide heated water directly to localised systems such as:

Air Handling Units (AHUs)
Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
Radiators or underfloor heating zones

KEY CHARACTERISTICS

Usually smaller pumps compared to primary/secondary
Often variable speed (VSD-controlled) for efficiency
Provide precise flow control to match local demand
Located close to end-use equipment

WHY USE TERTIARY PUMPS?

✅ Improves energy efficiency
✅ Allows independent control of zones
✅ Reduces pressure/flow imbalance
✅ Enhances comfort control in different areas

If your pumps need our expertise, then please drop our service team an email or give them a call.
